I found this fabulous restaurant by accident, before its new sign was installed, immediately on entry I met Hostess, Anna, daughter of the cheif and co-owner. The decoration and food are both authentic and traditional Chinese. The portions are more than generous and delicious. In the past six weeks this has become my exclusive go-to eatery. Several new places have opened in Monroe (Walton County) and Da Peng is far and away the very best Chinese Restaurant in Walton County. It is well worth a trip even from downtown Atlanta 50 minutes away. In these still early days no reservations are needed but I predict as word gets out there will be a need for a reservation. I have with guests now brought and greatly enjoyed more than ten of their dishes, each has been excellent. Tender beef, juicy chicken even under the crusty breaded wings, the stuffing inside their deep fried Rangoon Crab, the vegetables are always fresh and crunchy yet soft! Mongolian Beef is beyond belief, even Orange Beef custom ordered off the menu, Hot and Sour soup is a must on every stop on each of my now many take-out orders ( I always get the large version version that is still flavorful on microwave re heating days later. Please give Da Peng a try and say hello to Anna.

Loved this restaurant!!! I will definitely be back. Service was great. The woman working was kind, attentive, and fast. The lunch/dinner deal is amazing since you get rice, egg roll, soup, and your entree for $11.99. The food came out HOT and the portions were amazing. Every adult in my party of four had leftovers to take home for a second meal. Everything tasted amazing and had great flavor. 10/10, no complaints

I got the General Tso chicken dinner combo with wonton soup & eggroll. I will definitely be back. It was a huge portion of the well-loved sweet and spicy chicken. More than I could eat at one sitting. Not bad for $12.99. Friendly service also.

I finally got the duck and it was amazing. The sauce that comes with it is delicious. She also gave me a side of broccoli to go with my steamed rice. I ordered the half portion and will still have leftovers. I’d also like to mention the spectacular service. Thanks and happy eating yall.

Just a beautiful and wonderful scenery. The worker was a very hard worker handling business by herself and got our orders out in a timely manner. I highly recommend everyone come.

ordered an hour before closing , service was excellent, food was as hot as could be , the general tso's I ordered was incredibly crispy but perfect (usually they get soggy quick ) honestly I was so shocked the place wasn't jam packed. If you want Chinese near Monroe this is the spot 100%
